This unforgettable and award-winning video, conceived by and supervised by the musical group, Sigur Ros, features the Perlan special-needs theatre group acting out a simple but beautiful play about the elements. From what I hear, Sigur Ros are all the rage among college students.

We just found out that our little Jack needs to get glasses! Does anyone know where we can find a good selection of styles for him. We (I) would like to find something that doesn't look like big rubber Harry Potter glasses but don't know if there anything other than that available for someone his age.

Also, if anyone has any strategies or resources for keeping a pair of glasses on a kid that absolutely HATES anything on his head or face. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Last night Rancho mom rocked the Gigi's Playhouse fundraising event here in Chicago with a mean rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer". We also want to thank our dear friends the Caprio's and the McGill's for joining us.

Gigi's Playhouse Hits Chicago!

Gigi’s Playhouse is an organization whose mission is to increase awareness of Down syndrome and to provide programs for families. Jack and Vicki recently attended the grand opening of their latest location on Irving Park Road in Chicago. We are excited to get involved and have Jack participate in the programs at his playhouse!There is a great fundraising event on Saturday, August 16 – Taste of Logan Square to benefit Gigi’s Playhouse. The event is at the historic Logan Square Auditorium and will feature food by area restaurants (Buona Terra, Lula’s Café, El Cid).
